Description

Created using Maya. Using Polygon Modelling, Paint Effects and Maya's Hair System. Rendered with Maya's Rendering system.
Used Photoshop a little in post- production: Hue/Sat and Contrast.
2 Weeks Work, Approx. While working on other projects.

Added some more colours with flowers to make it look more like a meadow. Also used depth of field to focus on the foregound figure. I hope its makes the image look more mystical.

Your idea about making depth by blurring certain parts of the image is good, but too much is blurred. Try toning that down, and I am sure it will look much better right away! The closest nymph lacks realisticly smooth joints (like the shoulder,and the collar bones).

The rest is neat. The plants and the whole forest-look is very inviting. Well done with that!
