Aurora

Nature's - Light Fantastic!

The Aurora was created in Maya, using Paint Effects and Fluid Effects. The rest of the elements were produce in Photoshop CS.

Approximate time taken to do the image was 35hrs. Using a Wacom Intuos Pad.

It's cool! maybe there are too much elements and different shape-softnesses, and you could work more on the planet's shadow... but it's very interesting

Overall a good effect. I might minimize the foreground elements a bit. Nice work.

Very pretty; I like the diagonal composition.

But the foreground things being the same blurry-ness seems a little weird, kind of pasted-on. I think I'd like them more if they were crisper.
